The Tasman Highway will be closed from Brooker Avenue to the Tasman Bridge from 7 pm 18 January to 6 am 21 January 2019. While the Aquatic Centre will still be accessible, there will be significant delays and access will be via Aberdeen St only. There will be NO ACCESS TO ABERDEEN STREET from the bottom of Liverpool Street. Accordingly, to get to Aberdeen St you will need to get onto the Brooker Hwy heading SOUTH and turn left into Davenport St (as there is no right hand turn from the Brooker into Davenport). You can then turn right into Aberdeen St and the DKHAC carpark will be accessible from the bottom end (bollards will be removed).
An alternative route to Aberdeen Street is via Clearys Gates Rd and Upper Domain Rd.The Council recommends you allow AT LEAST an extra 30 minutes for your trip.
