Swimming is a sport for life. From learn to swim, to racing at junior meets to competing at State and National Championships or taking to the open water - swimming is a journey. Whether you choose to swim for fun and enjoyment, health and fitness, aspire to be a world champion, or choose to be involved in a non-swimming role as a coach, official or volunteer, swimming provides many opportunities.
Swimming Tasmania provides a structured swimmer development pathway to help swimmers progress and improve throughout their swimming journey. We are also grateful for the support provided by the Tasmanian Institute of Sport, which has implemented a structured program to support our swimmers as they progress through the development pathway. You can find more details here.
Swimming Victoria offers annual membership from 1 July - 30 June. All Swimmers, Coaches, Committee Members and Officials must re-register each year in order to have current membership coverage so as not to be placed at risk. Clubs are advised to develop systems to ensure all participants are automatically registered with Swimming Victoria.
